Our Triumph Tours can start on any day of the week but often customers will travel over the weekend and we start on Mondays! It’s simply your call.
We ensure you are fully briefed, kitted out and all documents checked and paperwork is completed.
Most customers arrive a day or two before the tour start date.
If time allows we can show you around the city the day before the tour
and meet as a group in the evening for a meal and a couple of beers (on me).
Whenever you arrive we will meet you at the airport or railway station and transfer you to your hotel in Chiang Mai. Depending on transfer times we may even have time to ride into the hills to loosen things up a bit and get a feel for the bikes and gear.
Our first day of riding is after breakfast usually at 9am (ish).
The last night is welcome home night (unless of course you have evening flights)- a great meal and a few beers next to the beautiful river Ping.
Bikes and gear are all sorted out at including closing out the paperwork and paying back deposits.
We can insert rest days or sightseeing days into your itinerary if you wish.
We can include Boat excursions, elephant sanctuary visits or even bamboo rafting let us know your wants and needs.
In Summary
Arrival to Chiang Mai.
If possible arrive at least the day before the tour start date into Chiang Mai airport or railway station. The flight from Bangkok is 1hr 10 mins and there are many flight options. The overnight sleeper train from Bangkok is a great adventure but leaves Bangkok at 6 p.m, arriving Chiang Mai at around 9 a.m (this has been known to be delayed).
PLEASE CHECK THE TIMES FOR YOURSELF!
Unless you are staying on in Chiang Mai or the Northern region, we will need to arrange your departure, the airport is literally 15 mins from the city centre
We will collect you from your hotel and transfer you to either the airport or the railway station. If you want to stay an extra night in your hotel we will of course arrange your transfer on the following day. Let us know in advance and we can book the hotel on your behalf.
If you have any further requests or ideas please let me know and I will advise and offer my personal help wherever I can.
Note: We will not profit from any third party arrangements, car hire, hotels excursions etc
